Where it started

In 2024, our founders Kiran Felice De Simone and Adrian Valentino Teske were both searching for shared apartments in Zurich. Classifieds were chaotic, group viewings felt like job interviews, and the few platforms that existed treated roommates as an afterthought. After one too many awkward coffees with strangers who clearly weren't a fit, the idea for Appartable took shape: what if you could match with the people first, and worry about the apartment second?
